How does our service work?
Book an appointment directly on our website by visiting the section “Book an appointment” or call us at 1-866-623-0001 and one of our customer service representatives will be happy to schedule an appointment with you.

 

Are your hairdressers experienced?
All participating hairdressing professionals working with l’institut de coiffure are certified, meaning they have shown us their diploma of their hairdressing acadamy, in order to get accepted. 

 

Do you check the applicants against the criminal record?
Yes. We are committed to your safety.

 

Do I receive a receipt for my payment?
Yes. In your account you will find all your history of appointments. For each appointment you will be able to download your receipt.

 

Is it possible to get flowers delivered along with the appointment, to for instance the hospital?
Yes, this is possible. Please, book your appointment with your special request by phone and our customer representative will be able to tell you the possibilities.  

 

I enjoyed the appointment with my previous hairdresser. Is it possible to have the same hairdresser for my next appointment?
Absolutely. You can book an appointment with the same hairdresser in your account. Go to your history of appointments and click on “Book another appointment with this hairdresser”.

 

Is the website secure?
Yes. We are using the industry’s standard 256bit encrypted SSL certificate, which encrypts all data, including any personal data given to book appointments. Please note, no credit card details or banking information is stored on our servers for security reasons. We use Paypal to process your payment and this data is only checked to process your payment, but is deleted after.

 

What happens if my appointment does not get accepted by a hairdresser in my region?
If your appointment is not accepted within 72 hours, or at least 24 hours before the scheduled date and time (whichever comes first), we will reimburse the payment. No fees are withheld, you will be reimbursed completely. In order to make sure your booking goes through the second time, we recommend booking an appointment by phone after. 

 

Can I also book an appointment if I am in good health and able to commute?
No. Our service is designed to serve those who are unable to commute. Oftentimes this goes hand in hand with people that are in hospital or need special care. The only exception is special events. It is possible to book appointments for special events such as (but not limited to) weddings, funerals or proms.

 

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit card payments and Paypal on our secured website. In some cases we also accept checks. A member of our team will be able to tell you if you are eligible to pay by cheque, based on your appointment history.

 

How much time in advance should I schedule an appointment?
Technically it is possible to schedule an appointment for the same day, but we cannot accept acceptance at such short notice. Therefore, we recommend putting it in our systems at least 24 to 48 hours in advance.

 

I am a hairdresser. How can I join l’institut de coiffure?
You can subscribe at the bottom of our website by following the link “I am a hairdresser”. A specialist will contact you.

 

The experience of my appointment did not live up to my expectations. What should I do?
We are sorry to hear our service did not meet your expectations. Please, call us to let us know at 1-866-623-0001. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will try our utmost best to find a suitable solution. 

 

Is my personal information safe with you?
Yes. We will never share or sell your information to third parties. Your personal information is only used to establish an appointment between you and our hairdressing professionals.

 

What happens if the hairdresser does not show?
Each case will be looked into individually. A reimbursement will be given if justified. 

 

I have to cancel my appointment, what should I do?
Please, call us at 1-866-623-0001. One of our customer service representatives will contact the hairdresser to cancel the appointment. A refund will be given only if the appointment is cancelled more than two hours before the scheduled time.

 

How can I save on my spendings with you?
We provide discounts for multiple customers in the same appointment. Meaning, if the hairdresser only needs to commute once for several customers at once, we are able to provide a discount. We also recommend to follow us on Facebook. We often have promotions!

 

Is it possible to have a custom appointment?
Yes, it’s possible. Call us at 1-866-623-0001 and we will organize a custom appointment with you.

 

I am getting married and I would like to book an appointment for one or more hairdressers for the morning of my wedding. Is this possible?
Yes. Your wedding is important, also to us. Each wedding is unique. Please, call us so we can plan every detail together. We have the best hairdressers available for you!

Are you like Uber or Téo for the hairdressing sector?
We are like the Uber of the hairdressing business with the philosophy of Téo. We pay our GST/QST and our income taxes.  We respect our affiliated hairdressing professionals, as well as the regular hairdressing salons. In no way we are intending to block their development.
